You could check the latest -lowlatency kernel available for Ubuntu Natty:
https://launchpad.net/~abogani/+archive/snmp++/+packages
It contains a config that has force threaded handler enabled.

Hey Jeremy, I may take a look at that. i wont be installing 2.6.39
until i see the right kernel available in Arch (AUR).
but i am quite curious, i can't wait until all of the RT features are mainline.

From your own experience, how well does it perform??
