Is it ok to keep bindings in timer subsystem, which is ok with all the other maintainers?
You mentioned, "The simplest way is I create an immutable branch based on v6.2-rc1 with these two patches and then I merge it back to the timers/next branch?"
Is immutable branch required, if it is just the bindings?
