I tried v4.5-rc3 with both my own .config and shmobile_defconfig. My monitor says "no signal", and "modetest -M rcar-du -c" claims HDMI-A-1 is disconnected. Can you please share your .config and test scenario? Disclaimer: while HDMI on my monitor works fine with a Sony Handycam and a BeagleBone Black, it's known to fail with the DragonBoard 410c. > And we found a patch between v4.5-rc3 and v4.5 that causing of this issue. > The patch is "b26a719 gpio: rcar: Add Runtime PM handling for interrupts." > Tested by: Xuan Truong Nguyen <nx-truong@xxxxxxxxxxx>. > In case of "git revert" this patch, we can show image on display normally. Interesting. That patch is supposed to _fix_ various issues with GPIO interrupts not coming through, one among them the interrupt for 'EDID read done' never arriving... Do we have all needed i2c fixes in v4.5-rc3?
