Thanks for reporting!

I tried v4.5-rc3 with both my own .config and shmobile_defconfig.
My monitor says "no signal", and "modetest -M rcar-du -c" claims HDMI-A-1 is
disconnected.

Can you please share your .config and test scenario?

Disclaimer: while HDMI on my monitor works fine with a Sony Handycam and a
BeagleBone Black, it's known to fail with the DragonBoard 410c.

Interesting. That patch is supposed to _fix_ various issues with GPIO
interrupts not coming through, one among them the interrupt for 'EDID read
done' never arriving...

Do we have all needed i2c fixes in v4.5-rc3?
