I'm trying to follow
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/7/html/networking_guide/sec-configuring_soft-_roce
with two CentOS 7 KVM VMs and VirtIO NICs (running on CentOS 7
hypervisors).
When verifying connectivity with ibv_rc_pingpong the server side fails with
Failed to modify QP to RTR
Couldn't connect to remote QP
The same happens with CentOS 8 guests running on CentOS 8 hypervisors.
Is Soft-RoCE _supposed_ to work in VMs?
