Speaking for myself, I usually only review things that *change* the
PCI core, not things like drivers that simply *use* the PCI core
services.

But since you made the mistake of asking, I do have a few comments
below :)

"PCIe" is the usual spelling.

This doesn't match the SPDX tag above.

This block is repeated and could be factored out to a helper function
(parameterized with i2c_read/i2c_write).

This switch statement is repeated below and could be factored out into
a helper function.

The above two initializations (readdata, i) are unnecessary.

Just return here and unindent the following block, like this:

  if (!debugfs_dir) {

    return;
  }

  privdata->debugfs_dir = ...

Better to hardcode "2" at the point where bar_index used so the reader
doesn't have to scan back up to the top of the function to see which
it is.

This sort of thing is annoying because if this driver is built into
the kernel statically (not as a module), it *always* prints stuff,
regardless of whether the device is present. There *are* examples
of that in the kernel, but I don't think they're good examples to
follow.

For example, I get the following useless messages on my laptop despite
the fact that they apparently only apply to IBM xSeries x366 and x460
systems. I think this is just anti-social.

  Calgary: detecting Calgary via BIOS EBDA area
  Calgary: Unable to locate Rio Grande table in EBDA - bailing!

If you need the driver name/desc/ver, you can always print it in
amd_mp2_pci_probe() (just the first time through).

Generally people use a space after "/*" and another before "*/".
You should at least be consistent for all your comments (some of them
have the spaces and some don't).

I don't think this cast is necessary.

All the printks here should be some form of dev_printk(), probably
using the platform_device. All driver printks should use dev_printk()
so the messages can be associated with a specific device.

This is unsafe: uid may be NULL here, and strcmp will dereference it.

I don't understand what's going on here. You seem to be claiming
AMDI0011 devices, but I can't see that you ever *do* anything with
that. I don't see any methods on that device being called or any
information from the ACPI namespace being used. What am I missing?

Extra space in "read data", and not enough at beginning and end.

I really don't like this. pci_get_device() basically subverts the PCI
driver registration mechanism. If a driver has claimed the MP2 device
using pci_register_driver(), then *it* completely owns the device and
no other code should touch it. pci_get_device() is a way for
arbitrary other code to get a pointer to the device and muck with it.

In this case, I'm guessing the driver claiming the MP2 device is
probably another piece of *this* driver, and you should have some
mechanism internal to the driver to coordinate knowledge of the device
and access to it.
