Re: [PATCH v3] PCI: Mobiveil: Add Mobiveil PCIe Host Bridge IP

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

This patch doesn't apply cleanly:

  $ stg branch --create pci/host-mobiveil pci-v4.15-changes
  $ stg import -M m/subrahmanya
  Importing patch "pci-mobiveil-add-mobiveil-pcie" ... error: corrupt patch at line 108
  stg import: Diff does not apply cleanly

I think it's line wrapped. Please fix your mailer so it doesn't
insert extra newlines in the patch.

You lined things up in a table, which is good. Also remove the extra
spaces inside the "< ... >", as in interrupt-map below. And use
lower-case consistently in your hex constants instead of mixing upper-
and lower-case.

Use a tab (not a space) after "mbvl", like the other entries.

Remove this spurious diff.

Darn it, I mentioned most of these things the first time around.

You ignored this comment from the first time:

  This name (LTSSM_STATUS_CODE) is not very descriptive. Presumably
  there are *other* status codes, too, so this should be something like
  LTSSM_STATUS_L0.

Some of your hex constants use lower-case, others upper-case. Pick
one and use it consistently.

I already pointed this out:

  Rename to mobiveil_pcie_link_up(). The altera and xilinx drivers are
  the oddballs here and should be renamed. All the others use
  .*_pcie_link_up().

I'm going to stop here because while you did fix a few things, there
was a lot of other feedback that you haven't addressed yet. It's a
waste of your reviewers' time if you don't pay attention to what they
write.
