I think this one isn't used, so I remove it for the next version.
4) Use the same type of definition (plain hex value vs. BIT()) for all fields in a register. BIT(x) likely maps to your documentation, but my personal preference is the plain hex value because it's simpler to debug, it shows the register width, and it works nicely for multi-bit fields. I guess GENMASK() is one way to handle multi-bit fields, too. Whichever you choose, use it consistently.
