pciehp: Determining slot number in UDEV event?

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible for a user to know the SLOT Number when the UDEV event for a PCI device added on a slot comes? 

Currently the only way I can think of is to parse the Device path in udev event for the downstream port, and then go search in the /sys as to which slot number does this correspond to.
