In my humble opinion, 'gmac' is a Synopsys based IP. Thus, if 'snps,phy-addr' is not ST specific, 'snps' prefix can be used. ./Documentation/devicetree/bindings/net/stmmac.txt - snps,phy-addr phy address to connect to.
