s/Deprecate use of/Remove/
("deprecate" means to disapprove of something, and you're doing more
than that :))

Rewrap above to fill 75 columns.  Separate paragraphs with blank
lines.  Add "()" after function names (mentioned elsewhere, but please
do it everywhere).
