Since this seems suspend/resume related, I added Rafael and Matthew.

Can you provide any more information?  Did this ever work?  On what
kernel?  On what kernel did it start failing?

You might want to open a kernel.org bugzilla and attach complete
dmesg logs of working and broken scenarios.
