extra bus number allocation for a hotplug capable slot

Hi,

On the system that I am working on, we have a situation where we have some PCIe hotplug-able slots. The issue is that if we insert a card on the slot, which has a PCIe switch embedded in it, then we run into issues, because the default BIOS allocation leaves space only for one bus under the Downstream switch port. I am wondering if in the latest series of discussions on resource reallocation how that is being handled.

I am currently based off a the standard 2.6.30 kernel from kernel.org.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Arvind.
