I have tried the VPD decoder on some boards around me and I have made
a couple of improvements:

  (1) The VPD items are now displayed with human-readable names in addition
      to the two-letter codes.

  (2) When a VPD string is NUL-terminated (which occurs on some Broadcom cards),
      the NUL is ignored. (Previously, "\x00" was printed.)
