This version of the kernel built with gcc-10 is working for me on my
Mako system:

   Linux version 5.9.0 (jejb@ion) (hppa64-linux-gnu-gcc (GCC) 10.2.0,
   GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Debian) 2.35) #1 SMP Wed Oct 21 09:35:50
   PDT 2020

So if it is gcc-10 I'm not seeing the problem.
