Elvis, why can't you use current, tested, pushed PM branch which is
2.6.30-based? I will be updating it shortly to use 2.6.31-rc once tested.
Until then, I don't plan to answer questions on 2.6.31.

Yes, I'll do that. I just had to find out the hard way, that the PM patches didn't work with v2.6.31-rc3. So, now I've switched to omap-2.6.30.

I was able to compile it successfully, and incorporate all of Tomi's DSS2 patches. I however, noticed that I can only apply either your PM patches or Tomi' DSS2 patches fully to omap-2.6.30, but not both.

This is probably because of changes in the board-*.c files for the various target platforms.

So, I'll have to manually edit your PM patches, and apply them to a local repo that incorporates tomi's DSS2 on top of the omap-2.6.30 branch.

Any suggestions on how best I could organize or do this work, so that the merged changes can be reused by others trying to attempt the same thing?

Best regards,

Elvis
