I am also seeing this on 4.14.19 on a different device - the Motorola Droid 4. I'm pretty sure this didn't happen on 4.14-rc2, so perhaps something broke later on in the release cycle? I will try to test it on a allwinner/sunxi a20 device tonight as well.
