Yes Tony. I did that for all the above mentioned devices. I did not find
any references apart from device tree folder under arch/ folder.

Apart from device tree folder and drivers/ folder i do not see any
instances of palmas, tps65218, tps65917, lp873x.

Shall i go ahead and introduce dependency on OF?
