You can't grep for this. Yes, marking blocks as disabled by default in the SoC dtsi file and then enabling in the board file is standard practice. If it is left disabled that doesn't mean it doesn't exist is what I was getting at. And yes, there are other cases where things get disabled with efuses or don't have pins.
