How sure are you that you need this? Why doens't -EPROBE_DEFER work
for you?
The dependent drivers return -EPROBE_DEFER. I just checked
and module_i2c_driver(tps65917_i2c_driver) works good.
I will remove the subsys_initcall and make it module_i2c_driver.
