ALSA with linux-omap

I'm trying to run some code that uses ALSA to playback audio with the "new pm branch". Unfortunately, I do not think ALSA is working.

It feels like alsa stops accepting data and then blocks, so our application stops. (Based on some observations of processor usage)

cat /dev/random > /dev/dsp make a brief soft sound, then stops. Ctrl-c and you can hear a pop a few seconds later.

Does this make any sense to anyone? The non pm kernels have been working great.
