I have the problem that when vip failover and back, the tcp's state in ESTABLISHED lasted about 8 or 9 minutes, then transform to FIN_WAIT2 about 1or 2 minutes.
after FIN_WAIT2 disappeared ,then client can reconnect successful. I know that seq number has changed,so it's not normal tcp connection.
I get svc_conn_age_period=6*60 from /net/sunrpc/svc.xprt.c. this parameter control the tcp connection's timeout. i tried to reduce this param,then it effectively.
I want to know that is there have any way to kill the tcp connection or free the socket on the nfs server when failover happend.i don't want to wait until expired. if not, whould i reduce this period?
