I think that’s a good idea, thanks. Are you suggesting to read and parse in the main thread (the uid as well as other info is known after parsing)? Or we can do the read() and pass the buffer for the child to parse. Instead of doing conditioned wait the main thread need to do a bit more work --read + memory allocation. Right now child thread has static memory for the read buffer.
