The same stateowner could be opening different files, and we wouldn't want to serialize those. I think we'd need something in the stateid struct itself. Trond also pointed out that we don't really need to serialize OPEN calls, so we might be best off with something like a rw semaphore. Take the read lock in OPEN, and the write lock for OPEN_DOWNGRADE/CLOSE. LOCK/LOCKU will also need similar treatment of course.
