Nice, I admit that's cleaner than I expected, and probably better than
the self-pipe trick.

My test was something like:

	i=0
	while true; do
		mount -tnfs4 -osec=krb5p server:/exports /mnt
		sleep 1
		umount /mnt/
		echo $(( ++i ))
	done

But it could take one or two hundred iterations to get a hang in the
"before" case.
