3.3-rc is _NOT_ a place to put patches for testing... You test the
patches _BEFORE_ you send them upstream.

In this case, the delay has been threefold.

1) Andy was on vacation
2) There are other fixes that need to be pushed and that tested too
3) I'm in Norway trying to attend a funeral...
