Have you tested this change against the Windows ms-nfs41-client
(https://cygwin.com/pipermail/cygwin/2024-September/256473.html) and
OpenText NFSv4 clients? They do use NFSv4 ACLs extensively, and might
break if you abuse NFSv4 ACLs
