linux-next: manual merge of the tip tree with the block tree

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

Today's linux-next merge of the tip tree got conflicts in:

  arch/x86/entry/syscalls/syscall_32.tbl
  arch/x86/entry/syscalls/syscall_64.tbl
  include/uapi/asm-generic/unistd.h

between commits:

  1690d3ffa284 ("Add io_uring IO interface")
0e5d5b5a94c8 ("io_uring: add support for pre-mapped user IO buffers")

from the block tree and commits:

0d6040d46817 ("arch: add split IPC system calls where needed")

and folloing ones

from the tip tree.

I fixed it up (see below) and can carry the fix as necessary. This
is now fixed as far as linux-next is concerned, but any non trivial
conflicts should be mentioned to your upstream maintainer when your tree
is submitted for merging. You may also want to consider cooperating
with the maintainer of the conflicting tree to minimise any particularly
complex conflicts.

Stephen Rothwell
