Hi,

first of all thanks for taking part in this discussion.

As it seems, people still differ on this subject.

So, Dave can you please give any futher information where this is documented in the kernel source.

Since what kernel version this should be fixed? Is it affected to IPv4 and IPv6 or only IPv4?

I haven't found anything right now. Further information would be great.

Not true, all TCP option negotiations are preserved these days.

When did this happen? Is this a fairly recent change or has this issue been
fixed for several kernel versions now?
