System.map: No such file or directory

Hi,
I have installed linux header for the existing kernel however when I make 
something I get an error that System.map is not present. I searched for that and 

really there is no such file. What should i do?

mahmood@localhost:k10temp$ uname -r
2.6.32-25-generic
mahmood@localhost:k10temp$ sudo apt-get install  linux-headers-2.6.32-25-generic

linux-headers-2.6.32-25-generic is already the newest version.
