Hi,

The last of following commands gives strange error ("x" is number). What can be the reason for it?

# ip a s eth0
2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast state UNKNOWN qlen 1000
    link/ether 00:04:61:a1:3b:be brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
    inet 62.44.x.18/27 brd 62.44.x.31 scope global eth0
    inet 62.44.x.19/27 brd 62.44.x.31 scope global secondary eth0:1
    inet6 fe80::204:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx/64 scope link
       valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
# ip link set eth0 down
# ip -s -s addr flush eth0
2: eth0    inet 62.44.x.18/27 brd 62.44.x.31 scope global eth0
2: eth0    inet 62.44.x.19/27 brd 62.44.x.31 scope global secondary eth0:1
Failed to send flush request: Cannot assign requested address
