Well, I haven't found a specific utility of any kind yet. I have been trying to use the existing make process, as I think that is where this hack came from. I am performing a make zlilo right now, to see what that produces. I am trying to build the x86 boot sector kernel from any kernel, but at the moment it's 2.6.28.7. This is for a clustering payload. The kernel will be combined with a payload, and initrd. But I can't get past the kernel booting, because it's not an x86 boot sector kernel.
