loading of Ethernet and mac80211 driver on boot

Hi

I have the mac80211 and my ethernet driver being loaded. I want to
know where exactly is the modprobe of the wireless module being done.
The modprobe.conf file does not have any alias too. And even if it has
an alias, I would like to know at what point of time, does linux read
modprobe.conf. I looked at /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit and couldnt find it in
that file either. It would be really helpful if someone could throw
some light on this topic.

Thanks,
Cheers,
Balaji
