Mixing bridge and QoS

Hello,

I'm not sure if there are documents on this subject but I'm trying an
experiment with my box running 2.6.22. I want to bridge 2 Ethernet
interfaces and sit between my router and my switch in my office. Be a
man in the middle. I'm going to use the bridge to "cut" the wire and
"tap" into it. I want to gather stats of all traffic going from my
network to the router and the reverse direction as well. I also want to
use QoS to shape traffic heading for the router and out the Internet.

Here is the idea.

bridge br0:
  Device eth0:
Link to the router. apply QoS
  Device eth1:
Link to the office switch. apply QoS.

Will mixing these 2 cause issues?

Thanks,
Chris
