interesting observation with linux-2.6.23-git13, ping times

Hello!

I recently switched to kernel linux-2.6.23-git13.
Here is a hyperlink to a page, containig graphs with ping data collected from that machine:

http://carpo.iax.be/cgi-bin/drraw.cgi?View=-1&Dashboard=1173714901.13449&Start=Oct+18+2007+00%3A00&End=Oct+19+2007+00%3A00&Filter=&Mode=view

If you check it out, you will notice how the ping times changed rather drastically. A little clarification - the top two graphics show the ping times to an ADSL modem, and a WRT54GL router with wireless AP; all other graphs are to Windows/Linux hosts. The machine has 3 Realtek 8129 NICs, the first one is directly connected to the ADSL modem. On the graphs in question, the kernel is switched from linux-2.6.23 to
linux-2.6.23-git13 at 15:00 local time via reboot.

Any suggestions why am I observing this behaviour?

If more info is needed, just ask.

Thanks,
