	First my setup:

x86_64
Linux 2.6.20
Asus M2N-E (same problem with an Asus A8N-VM too)
chipset MCP55 (nvidia nforce 570 ultra)
Realtek 8029 PCI 

	The problem is: I use an old PCI Realtek 8029 card with the
old BNC (coaxial) connector and it works perfectly except that after a
while (a few hours using it) the system returns the message (some days
it won't occur. I can't reproduce it):

	POSSIBLE SOLUTION/HINT
	***********************************************************

	Then I have to reboot the machine. But  I found a ***possible
solution*** with my old motherboard (Asus A8N-VM with Athlon64 3800+): I
just changed the BIOS value from 800MHz to 400MHz:

Hyper Transport MCP51 Configuration
MCP51 (SB) to NVIDIA (NB) Frequency: 400MHz

	and the problem disappears.

	Now I have this new motherboard, Asus M2N-E and the problem
remains. I don't have this BIOS option (at least I didn't found) and as
I don't agree that I have to use a lower frequency to "solve" this, I
ask if there could be another solution.

	I suspect the problem is with the nvidia chipset. I read here:

	Could the nvidia chipset affects the NIC board in some
circunstances?

	Could it be a problem with interrupts? ACPI? A x86_64 issue?
Some kernel options I use:

	Any hints how to debug this problem?
