Hi, I am trying to use Source specific multicast API (IGMPv3) in linux 2.6 kernel. I have tried using socket option , IP_MSFILTER which does not seem to work. It returns error "setsockopt IP_MSFILTER: Cannot assign requested address". I also tried using ipsetfilter/ipv4setfilter API which also gives me the same error. Has any one came across this issue?
