DHCPINFORM / DHCPACK filling up syslog

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello

I have 8 Windows XP workstations using DHCP. The DHCP server itself is
Fedora Core 3. The lease is set to 7 days and the clients pick up the DHCP
config ok. I would expect the clients to renew their DHCP info every 3.5
days, but syslog shows DHCPINFORM and DHCPACK messages for each client every
*hour*.
What are the clients doing at this point and how can I stop it?

Many thanks,
Steve :)
