The initial 2.4 patch was posted to linux-mips@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx by Thomas Lange 21 Jan 2005.

BTW, 2.4 driver still has this issue. Who do I send/forward 2.4 patch to (it should be identical to 2.6 one)?
