binding an ip6_tunnel to an iface

Hi,

If an ip6-ip6 tunnel is bound to a specific physical interface (by setting
struct ip6_tnl_parm.link) then should not all encapsulated packets go
out on that interface regardless the tunnel's src and dst endpoints?
In the ip6_tunnel and routing code it seems that the "tnl.link" is
considered
only after normal route lookup (using the dst and src addr of the tunnel)
on the found routes. So, tunneled packets may go out on a different
interface than the specified one.
Should not the specified outgoing iface have higher preference than the
src and dst addresses during route lookup?

Thanks,
Gabor Fekete
