[1.] One line summary of the problem: my X crashed at low memory condition running X programs remotely

I was running Mozilla, OpenOffice and some other X programs remotely using "ssh -X servername", there were about ~50 windows open and at some desktop switching my X crashed.
The only message I got is at /var/log/syslog:
