I don't know how I would test that.  Any suggestions?  I tried
enabling the full packet debugging, but that didn't show any more
packets than tcpdump.  Which is what I'd expect.

There is of course also a possibility of a failing adapter.  This is
just a single PCI-card.  Allthough it appeares to have a PCI-bridge
with three copies of an ordinary lanstreamer I can't rule out the
possibility that there is some common hardware that make all three
fail.  I just don't know much about it.  Got the card brand new and
shrink-wrapped a few months ago for US$5 (yup, five bucks) on eBay :-)
But it has of course been stored somewhere for the 8 years since it
was produced...

Thanks for your interest in this.  I must admit that I didn't really
expect anyone to put much work into it.  I just hope I haven't done
stupid, causing the failure myself.
