RTF_CACHE Flag for Routes rt6_redirect Creates

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I have been observing problems with ICMPv6 Redirect in 2.6.10. The
redirect is not obeyed after a routing table garbage collection cycle.
Setting the RTF_CACHE flag for the newly created route appears to be the
problem. This flag puts a time limit on the route created for the
redirect. Shouldn't the limit for the redirect route be the lifetime of
the destination cache entry?

Thanks,
