Hi Henrik; Thanks a lot. I've just downloaded and installed openSSH in one windows machine and executed the ssh server in windows, and the ssh client in my linux one an it works. For me (just an environmental researcher) this is unbelievable, and I'm very happy with this. I've executed the program in the windows machine with no problem. I've got two more doubts; perhaps you can also help. My real objective is to be able to run windows programs in a bath mode, and I've got two problems, tha I guess are resolved but I can't find in the documentation (or I can't understand it): 1) A password is required interactively, and this would prevent the batch mode. 2) and I don't know how to specify the commands including the path. My windows program and the parameter is: C:\Environment\Groundwater_Models>mk2k altest1.nam And that is not my default home path I've tried something like: ssh -l javier -v 161.111.146.131 "C\Environment\Groundwater_Models>mk2k altest1.nam" and doesn't work. To be able to do this, would resolve a lot of problems for us. Thanks a lot again, Javier ------------------- El Jueves, 14 de Octubre de 2004 22:45, Henrik Nordstrom escribió: > On Wed, 13 Oct 2004, rn001 wrote: > > I mean: the remote program is a windows executable in a windows computer, > > and I would like it to be able to be executed with the resources of the > > windows computer, and if possible, from it, to write the output back to > > my computer with the Linux box.
