Problems with sis900 in 2.6.7-rc1

Hi


I can't get an integrated sis900 network card to work,
I get this when I try to bring up the interface:

(sis900 device eth2 does not appear to be present delaying initialisation)

That happens bouth as module and as built in.

I tried this patch found here:
http://www.uwsg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0405.1/0818.html

but the result is the same it dose not work,
the message (cannot find ISA bridge) did however disappear when I boot
with the patch added.

Any idea what I can do or test?
