Newbie wants to write a driver

I'm looking for an ethernet chipset that noone has written a driver for
yet. Preferably 10/100 mbit chipsets as I don't have much of wireless
nor gigabit equipment at home, but I could get that if it requires it.

No chipset that users are pounding on to get a driver, but something
that someone could have use, and useful enough for inclusion if I ever
succeed with it.
My level is that I've read through LDD & looked through some ethernet
drivers. That is, only theory ;-)

I was suggested to mail here and ask.

Thanks,
Alex
