I'm trying to kill the remaining link detection problems that seem to linger in just about every ethernet driver ever written. :-) Enclosed are patches against current 2.4.x and 2.6.x vanilla kernel tg3 driver sources, give it a go and let me know how it goes. If you're going to report a failure or a "it didn't work before now it does", please include full 'dmesg' output. Thanks.
