PPP-deflate broken in 2.6.0-test1 + SMP

	Hi,

PPP-deflate is still broken in 2.6.0-test1. I reported this
bug a month ago (2.5.72), but it seems that nobody cared.

	Test setup :
		First : Dual PPro 200MHz, 2.6.0-test1, /dev/ttyS1
		Second : Dual PPro 200MHz, 2.4.22-pre1, /dev/ttyS1
Cross-over serial cable between the two boxes.
	PPP command :
pppd /dev/ttyS1 9600 local noauth novj nobsdcomp
	PPP traffic :
		simple ping between two boxes
	What happens :
deflate compressor on 2.6.0-test1 systematically fails
and drop Rx packets.

Note that the exact same command with "nodeflate" works
perfectly. I didn't thouroughly check VJ yet, that's for next time.
If anybody care, I've got more debug info, my .config, all the
rest, but that should be quite trivial to reproduce. Note that my
systems are slow SMP, so concurency happen much more often.

	Have fun...

	Jean
