On a recent Linux kernel I get the following errors: udp v4 hw csum failure.
$ uname -a
Linux debian 2.4.20 #1 SMP Tue Mar 18 18:58:59 CET 2003 i686 unknown unknown GNU/Linux
I use this machine as an NFS client.
fstab entry:
192.168.1.4:/data /data nfs nfsvers=3,rsize=32768 0 0
I tried on TCP too, but got the same error.
Intel(R) PRO/100 Network Driver - version 2.1.24-k1 Copyright (c) 2002 Intel Corporation
e100: selftest OK. e100: eth0: Intel(R) 8255x-based Ethernet Adapter Mem:0xd5520000 IRQ:10 Speed:0 Mbps Dx:N/A Hardware receive checksums enabled cpu cycle saver enabled
I assume it is related to the above message, which says the hardware does the checksumming. How could I switch that out?
pls. cc me, I'm not on the list.
