Hi...
I have had some problems earlier that I can't use my network cards in
100Mbit/s under the 2.4.20 kernel...
The cards I have tried is a new $50 3Com with drivers that come with the
2.4.20 kernel and
a $10 D-Link DFE - 530TX with both via-rhine and rhine-fet drivers.
If I set the PCI cards in 10Mbit/s Full-Duplex Mode it can work for about
1-5 days without craching.
If I set it to 100Mbit/s it takes just a few seconds before it starts
filling my syslog with these kind of msg.

Thaught that it was the cards that was faulty but they work perfect on
another computer with Win98...
So then I started thinking that it was my overclock of the CPU, it is a P75
as standard but with an Overdrive CPU
and some jumpering I boosted it to a P200... So I made it a P75 again, that
was really slow... :(
But it did crach anyway, so then I took out the PCI card and replaced it
with a ISA card and now
I have been running on a 3Com ISA card now for 2 weeks without a single
crach...
What more can I do to find more information about what could cause these
craches or should I just quit using the PCI Slot?
Or does anyone know what can cause theses problems?
/Jonas
