Xfree GUI problem

Hi all
      We found twice GUI problem in linux on different pentium machines and
log file has shown below. It says Xserver can not be loaded.  Once if it
happens there is no option to go back again , Machine boots in command mode
only . We have to reinstall it  the complete linux for getting GUI feature
again. The pain is every time we should take backup if this error occurs. I
request u to guide us for any alternate way.
